Financial Policy Financial Policy
Registration fees are the initial basic charges covering application processing, instructional materials, student insurance and library expenditures. This fee must be paid in full along with the first month’s tuition installment, at the time of registration. The amount is Two Hundred twenty five dollars ($225.00) for first through eighth grade. All registration fees are non-refundable. Any unpaid portion of the Registration Fee can be prorated with a 25% surcharge (currently $56.25). Arrangements must be made at time of Registration.
Tuition: $2,000.00 per School Year 06/07
Tuition can be paid in full at registration or spread over ten installments, August through May. When using the installment payment plan the first installment is due for each student at the time of registration. Thereafter the installment payments are due the 15th of each month. Tuition charges for a student entering or leaving the school at an irregular time will be pro-rated for the school year.
Miscellaneous charges will appear on monthly statements for expenses such as music or school materials, meal tickets, damaged or lost books or school property. A $15.00 fee for checks returned due to insufficient funds.
Past Due Accounts: There will be a late payment charge of $10.00 (ten dollars) if payment is not received by the 25th of the month.
Accounts past due 30 days from the due date, the responsible party will notify the school Board Chairman or Treasurer regarding financial arrangements for the student to continue at Desert View Christian School.
Accounts past 45 days from the due date, student will be no longer eligible to attend school. This action will be preceded by a letter, phone call or visit by a school board member. Exceptions will be made only if satisfactory financial arrangements can be make.
Students with unpaid accounts from a previous year are expected to pay their account in full before registering for the current year. Accounts outstanding in other schools must be settled or arranged for satisfactorily before the student can be accepted unconditionally at Desert View Christian School.
