Thanksgiving Dinner, Nov 12, 2009
November 12th was the annual Thanksgiving Dinner hosted by the DVCS Students. There was a lot of good food, all donated by Church members and parents of the students. There were 50 people squeezed into the Fellowship Hall. The students served as the food as normal. However, the difference was between the main course and desert the four students played the Chimes for the audience.  Mrs Carrie Tow, our teacher, had brought these from Idaho Falls and had been working with the students to learn how to play them. They did a wonderful job. Then the kids had their parents come up and play a song. 
That was fun. Finally the students choose people from the audience, that was different. There were many pictures taken and fellowship and good fun was had by all. If you were unable to attend, please keep the occasion in mind for next year.
