'Monday' note Dec 9

I may start trying to get this note posted on Sunday from now on, Monday afternoons can be kind of crazy, especially on weeks when the school board is meeting, and sometimes it's easier to just put it up on Sunday.

THANK YOU!  to all that brought your students to church on Sabbath - the kids did awesome!!  I was so proud of them all!!

Picture Day

Something went wrong with the filters that the photographer had set for the indoor pictures, so she wants to come back and re-shoot those portrait shots that she did.  She will be here at 9:00 Tuesday morning (Dec 11).  The outdoor shot of the entire group apparently turned out fine.  So we will not need to re-do that shot, just the individual shots that were done inside.  (it had something to do with the florescent lights in the fellowship hall)

Outdoor School

Sixth grade parents - a packet is coming home with your students Monday afternoon with further information regarding outdoor school which will take place in April. We would LOVE for all of our sixth graders to be able to attend.  A $20 Deposit is due by the end of the week (Dec 15) further fees will hopefully be covered by fund-raising, but the total cost is $280. That is a pretty good deal for a for a full week of awesome educational fun!  There will also be a bit more added to that, because of the travel that will be needed to the Oregon Coast.  Further details will be forthcoming as they become available, but also feel free to ask, at any time if you have other questions that the information in the packet does not answer.

Wednesday Field Trip

Grace Lutheran has asked that we come help with food basket preparation, again, this Wednesday (Dec 12).  We will again walk over, at about 9:00 and return at about 11:00.  Any parents that are free and wish to join us would be welcome.

Oranges should be arriving Wednesday or Thursday - Watch for notification in remind, with information about when to pick them up.

Wrap-it up

Please help spread the word to family and friends that we will be at the D&B parking lot for one more session of gift wrapping.  We will be there for 2-5 Sunday, December 16.   There is no specific fee for this service, donations are accepted.  We also need some school families to sign up for the two sessions, from 2-3:30, and from 3:30-5:00.  One to two families in each slot is plenty.  You can text me your availability.
